Ahhh, these is nothing quite like the January sales in Britain. Every single store puts up the big red sale sign on 26th December and continues to progressively offer bigger and better bargains until the 'last day of the sales', a.k.a. 26th January. As a resident of London for almost a decade, January sales were like a ritual to grab the best bargains of the year!!
